These folks volunteer an awesome number of hours at our school, making sure every event we sponsor goes smoothly. We cannout count the number of hours it is so high. Dwyer Middle School would like to honor its head custodian, Ricardo Rosales. On April 2nd at a special Board meeting, Ricardo was honored by the Orange County Department of Education as the 2009 Classified School Employee of the Year. Ricardo was chosen as the outstanding Maintenance and Operations employee from all Orange County school districts. He will represent all Orange County at the state Employee of the Year event. We are incredibly proud of Ricardo’s recognition as a wonderful employee and dedicated professional. Ricardo has been Dwyer’s ‘Good Sheppard’ through years of remodeling and construction. He is always ready to help at every function and event at Dwyer. He is the teacher’s best friend when the need something. He is a trusted volunteer at his church, and spends his spring breaks and summers on church missions in other countries. We are extremely proud of Ricardo, and we are grateful to have him at Dwyer.

Former Dwyer and current HBHS student Mike Fisher stopped by to thank Dwyer students for helping him with his medical bills. Mike is fighting brain cancer, and Dwyer students have been participating in SAVE MIKE'S HEAD fundraisers all year. Good luck Mike!!!!
